Thus, "DOJO" is a surface where the way to enlightenment takes place. I chose this name for my studio as I feel, for me, recording is a "way to enlightenment" (sometimes lots of frustration, as well). Nonetheless, it is always a learning experience. Another reason for using "DOJO" as the name is that one of my isolation rooms actually is a "DOJO", which is commonly used as a name for a martial arts school.
