The Dojo
Welcome To The Dojo
"DO"- Japanese for "the way" or "path to enlightenment." "JO"-"surface." Thus, "DOJO" is a surface where the way to enlightenment takes place. I chose this name for my studio as I feel, for me, recording is a "way to enlightenment" (sometimes lots of frustration, as well). Nonetheless, it is always a learning experience. Another reason for using "DOJO" as the name is that originally, one of my isolation rooms actually was a "DOJO", which is commonly used as a name for a martial arts school.

Rate info... The main difference between The Dojo and other recording studios is that I am not set up to record full bands at the same time. This is a decision I made years ago. So, I don't need 18 of everything and I don't have the overhead and expense that some studios do. My standard rate is $25/hr.
For a limited time, if you happen to decide you would like me to play guitar, the guitar tracks are FREE! No charge for my performance, no charge for the session time! I am offering this simply to get my playing out there more too so it is a win-win situation.
